Caoimhe,Róisín, Áine

When my children were small I longed to have birthday cards for them
like their friends who were called Sarah or Jane or Emma or Rachel or Rebecca.
But my girls' names were all in the Irish language.
Now finally those names have become popular enough for a card company to produce cards
that are suitable for my three.
It's over twenty years too late... but better late than never!

Nice arrangement; the plants in the background really don't have anything to do with birthdays as such but the placement seems natural somehow.

A very gentle idea and a simple but enjoyable composition voluntarily childish. The photo is well taken. The reflections of the cards and the background are not casual details, they are an effective part of the photo.

For a minute, I thought you were revealing Aine was one of a set of tripelts!
Interestingly, on the radio yesterday someone was introduced as Sir "Dianne" Hopkin, but it was clarified today that this welsh gentleman's name [Deian] is not pronounced quite like that and equates to the English 'Davy'.
To my ears he had a pretty unusual name too :)

These are delightful and it's interesting how Irish names are now amongst the most
popular names for children.
