Wildlife camera system

Nikon D200, 200-400 mm VR lens, 1.7x TC - giving effective 1020 mm. A Better Beamer flash extender on SB-800 flash
The camera is usually operated in manual mode starting at 1/250 s and f9 with the FUNC button programmed to shut off the flash.
That is very convenient when alternating between aiming at sunlit and shady targets.
Outside, a swivel head monopod is used as support. That works well for small birds at a distance or dragonflies close up.

other sizes: small medium large auto
