Red dot sight for use when photographing birds in flight. Both eyes can remain open while the red dot is kept on the bird.
The camera is set in rapid fire mode and only starts when it finds a focus (in the multi-area mode).
That part works very well. The support is version 1 of a home made system (still clumsy)
It has a remote trigger and can be held at three different places by the left hand depending whether the bird is level or high.
