I LOVE LIVE OAK TREES

Sugar Land, TX

The way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost
Gilbert K. Chesterson

The Southern Live oak is a majestic and long-lived tree, with a crown that can spread up to twice its height.
It can live to 200 years in an Urban setting and much longer under ideal conditions.
It is an evergreen having leaves that are a thick glossy dark green and it bares acorns.
These live oaks are 'wind resistant' because of their strong wood and stout shape which is
important in this part of the country, where we get hurricanes every few years.
