This is my story, this is my song!

Yet again I have to resort to the archive, although once more I thingummy jiggeried the image today - thus making it a legitimate addition to my PaD gallery. So, I guess you're wondering just what it is that I have been up to that has prevented me from taking a picture today. I'll hold my hands up and admit that it's a fair cop, and that you have caught me just being lazy. You see, I stayed in bed until - shock, horror, holds his hands in front of his face in disbelief - nearly 11am! Then when I did finally get up I had so many important things to do, like watch the SPL highlights and then the build up to the big televised match between league leaders, Hearts, and Celtic's arch enemy, R*****s. I have to confess to being torn, for as much as I like seeing R*****s getting beat (a joy second only to seeing Celtic win!), I was hoping that today's game would end in a draw. You see, Hearts are five points ahead of Celtic, so we need them to drop points, and if the orcs had managed to peg them back today, then they would only be three points ahead - and that is one game's worth of points. My heart ruled my head as I watched the game, because I couldn't bring myself to hope R*****s would score. I think I'd rather have Hearts five points in front and R*****s six points behind than us leading the Orcs by five points and trailing Hearts by three. Obviously, after watching that game, I had to listen to Celtic keeping up the pressure on the league leaders and moving even further in front of R*****s. Once that was over, how could I possibly not listen to all the R*****s fans, who not so long ago were practically boasting that they'd have the championship tied up by Christmas, crying into their beer and calling for their manager to be sacked immediately. Oh! how the mighty fall! So there you have it, why I didn't pick up the camera today. Now, you may think that this image bears no relationship to my day. You'd be wrong, I tell you. You will note that the dominant colours are green, white, gold and burgundy. The first three colours are those worn by Celtic, while Hearts wear burgundy and white. The burgundy might be in front for now, but the green, white and gold will soon overwhelm it. You wouldn't know that I just thought that link up just now, would you!

Everyone needs a day to just relax. If you can call the tension of watching the match relaxing. Lovely dof in the photo and it looks very autumnal.

Lovely dreamy image - hope your wishes for the team are not just dreams! And Saturday's are sometimes meant for laziness. Just like our cameras our batteries need recharging too.

Me thinks the gentleman doth protest too much! It's a nice shot. It deserves to be in the gallery! Sleep and football are important to future creativity.....
