Three sisters

These are three of the six guitars that
I always have at my side. They are (from the back)
Bertha, Sugar and my newest that has no name yet.
Bertha and Sugar were made in 1958 and are truely sisters
they are the thin line and full size Gibson ES127s.

other sizes: small medium original auto

I imagine you know these as well as you know yourself, Larry. Great outlines of each curve.

Awesome guitar "portrait" I just wish I could hear you play!

I had a lovely Gibson like that and someone burglarized my house. It was what I regretted losing the most of everything they took.

Gorgeous sisters!!

How nice that you gave them names, very cool. Love the curves.
I should give my son's piano a name and hopefully he will more attach to it.

The third one should be named "Daisy"...don't ask me why, I just think it fits. LOL Nice bunch of sisters you have there! :)

Guitars are such beautiful instruments both to listen to and to look at.

Wonderful curves, Larry.

My baby is my Ovation Acoustic bass.. Great shot, and I'm glad they don't fight.

The newest one sure distracts from the other two. You can tell a large difference in their ages, just by the style. I think I like the Sisters best though.

Oh SWEET shot. I like the composition a lot. The newest one really stands out in for at how differently the top is shaped. Great abstract!
Larry Ahern04-Aug-2004 12:19
Yeah ... Lou they leave the corner clean but the middle one can Bark:)
Lou Giroud04-Aug-2004 12:07
Strange obsession from guitar players to give names to their instruments. It all has one advantage and also a disadvantage. They do not bark and piss on wall corners and they don't bring you the newspaper in the morning. Despite of this, they can produce wonderful sounds.

OOops - should have read 'you could CALL!"
Jude Marion04-Aug-2004 11:41
Nice detail shot. I like the lines of these guitars - the white lines, especially draw our eyes into and around the photo.
You could can your newest guitar PADdie! LOL

You really like guitars, don´t you? :-)
I live with a guitar-playing man myself and he have told me just about everything there is to know about those instruments but I remember very little of it.... guess that shows how big my interest is. But it sounds nice when he starts playing.... :-)
Nice shot, Larry.

They are beauties, and you must find a very special name for the new addition to the family.
Guest 04-Aug-2004 11:11
There's some fun to be had there!
