thank you for the comment. I have been told by the natives there, this is a recent (XVIII-th -XIX-th century) mining work. The method used was a very interesting one, consisting in burning the stone and then wetting it with water and winegar in order to make it collapse. The "devil" I am refering at is that particular stone at the entrance, my visual discovery. :)

In fact this is an old mining work, a gallery (may be dug in the Roman time), which is now collapsed.
