For those that are interested, all pictures in this gallery were shot with a Nikon D100. I used either a Nikkor 35mm f2.0 AF-D (at f2.0 - 2.8) or a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 (at f2 and f4). The latter lens is manual focus and therefore does not meter on the D100 body. I used the histogram to judge the exposure. The shutter speed was recorded for each exposure and is on the EXIF data. The manual lenses did not communicate aperture information to the camera, so that is missing from the EXIF data.

I also used a 18% neutral grey card to set the white balance manually. This gives a much better color rendition on the D100 than either Auto or some of the other settings. If you are a D100 shooter, I highly recommend carrying the small (4"x5") grey card with you in your bag when you shoot at indoor gyms and arenas.
