Alien message: invasion plans or graffiti?

This suspicious scribbling, made with an unknown device on what appears to be a strip of metal (also undetermined), was recently discovered in a desert canyon. The "metallic" strip is bonded to a rock wall by unknown means. Similar writing has been found elsewhere, but not of this color. Whether that represents a message in itself is unknown. There are a lot of unknowns here.

Two theories have been put forth to explain this mystery. The more likely one is that the writing is a message left by Aliens who were on a reconnaissance mission in advance of an invasion. The writing is instructions left for the invaders. (But what happened to that invasion? Will it still take place?)

The other theory is that this was left by Aliens as a prank. Is there, somewhere, a group of extra-terrestrials, watching this unfold on Earth, and laughing their heads off (assuming they have heads)? This is yet another unknown.

I've seen this before. If I remember right, it means Curb Your Human.

Your princely way with words colors my world and weights for no one. Stay vigilant.

This is the first I'm seeing of this and it's fascinating -- I believe it's actually the original lyrics to "Purple Rain" in (TAFKA) Prince's native Falsettish. The fact that it's pink and red is not coloring my judgement, and the fact that it's heavy metal carries no weight. These are more mere distractions. Only the truth is concrete. If someone could break through the code of irrelevance and decipher the song's meaning, it might hold important clues.

I think I have seen this before. It is possiby the inter-galactic equivilant of an Itunes gift card. The difference being that it is used to purchase "ziog bladder extenders". The current inter-galactic intertainment craze.

Dave, I run this through a translation program on the Super Cray, The answer was "Kilroy was here"
Then it started singing "Rule Britannia". I think it has overheated again. I will try again later.
