Trying the 400 2.8 L IS at San Juan birds

I just acquired a Canon 400 2.8 L IS which I plan to use as a specialty lens at birds in low light. I went with some birder-friends to San Juan, Batangas to try out this bright birding glass. :)

Habitat - Variety of wetlands from ricefields to mangroves.

Scietific name - Nycticorax caledonicus

Habitat - Marshes, rice paddies, mangroves.
