Ako yung guest below. Kaakbay just reported from Pagudpud and the Anas luzonica is doing well there also. With the proposed Philippine Duck Network we hope to remove this species from the vulnerable status. Your collective photos are both inspiration and ammunition to its proponents.

Romy, this one tops them all! In honor of our local wild duck we shall soon open a new birding site. This one is harder to conquer. You've already mastered the angles of the old site.

AWESOME! The captured colors, in case you do not know, KA ROMY, because you are color blind- is like a painter's palette. The many shades of brown, the sunset shade head, the white and purple accent + the scaly feathers that's so detailed. Magnificent, fantabulous! It looks like a butterfly to me, your Highness. The best description I can give to this beautiful capture. :D
