This Philippine endemic Bulbul is common but difficult to photograph well because it is very active under the canopy. It took me two years and countless shots to finally capture it in good light, with most of its physical features recorded nicely in pixels. Though certainly not the best looking Philippine endemic, it barges into my Magic list because of the difficulty of capture. This photo should be among the most detailed pic of this species taken in the wild ever.
