These very rarely photographed shy birds (a near Philippine endemic) are caught in mid-stride while crossing a dirt road, on their way to delivering provisions for their young. The paper-thin DOF of the wide-open Sigmonster gives that pleasant, subject-isolating look peculiar to fast supertelephotos. The combination of motion blur in the moving feet, and sharp head and right foot of the fore bird also gives this pic a sense of dynamism.
