14th February 2008 - sunshine through their window

The rest of the tulips on the window ledge in Mum and Dad’s room before they arrived at lunchtime today.

This is not a photo by DMs categorisation of a photo, it’s a snapshot – simply pointing my camera at something that was there. In fact, not only that but he actually suggested I shoot this for my pic.

He’s been a bit of a sweetie today. Kind, considerate, helpful, basically just really nice.....ahhhhhh......

To me a snapshot is a hastily taken photo with no regard to light or composition and this is neither so there lol

I disagree. This is not a snap shot. A snap shot is a picture Uncle Ray and cousin Jim on the backporch smiling with their new shot gun. Rather, you found beauty in the ordinary. That is art.

I think of snapshots as being rather bland and often shot with wonky horizons with no regard to decent light. So this could not possibly be a snapshot! I imagine DM's judgement is influenced by the subject matter :)
