The axe finally fell today, as I knew yesterday it surely must – we tried to stop it but got nothing but cut hands for our efforts.
So, when I got home, after another embarrassing evening sobbing into my hands all the way home on the train, and saw the lilies I’d bought at the weekend on the table, newly opened, I thought perfect – lilies are symbolic of funerals so here are some.
I must say, as you’ll probably notice, I’ve not been paying much attention to quality for this shot – and looking at it for the first time today, a week later, I realise that the high ISOs on the G7 (neat image strips the exif but it was shot at 1600ISO) are completely unusable really so apologies. This has even been through neat image and still ended up looking like this!
Last year, things were much better in my world!
