I’m dashing around like a mad thing and I’m incoherent because I’m so uptight about travelling. DM and I are shouting at each other. It’s nearly 11.30pm and I’m nowhere near ready for the off. I’m not packed, I’ve not sorted out stuff properly for the house sitter, I’m NOT READY.

One thing I have done is do the Mother’s Day cards and here they are, ready to post in the box at the airport tomorrow – I hope they arrive on time. Yep, they’ve got santa stamps – that’s because they were found under a heap of rubble on my desk yesterday.

Mum and Margaret – gifts hotfooting their way to you when we come home – this will have to do for now. We love you both - happy Mother's Day for Sunday.
