Was there a drinking fountain built into a tree at that baseball field in the very early 60's ?

Louie's correct. we used to call the part that i think you're standing in to take this shot "The Tub" because there was a ridge built all the way around it. played LOTS of baseball there back when kids played pick up baseball. would have been in the late '60's early '70's.

Played many games of baseball and football on the park lawn. Way back in the early sixties. Good God I'm old.
