Cades Cove

Cade's Cove is an 11-mile, 1-lane/1-way road loop within the GSMNP that has some historic home sites and is known for wildlife. The only time we went there on this trip we were getting there a bit before sunset. It took us 2 hours to make the 11-mile drive because everyone and their brother also wanted to drive thru it at sunset, hoping to see wildlife coming out. Collectively, we saw a total of 19 deer and 12 wild turkeys.
