A friend of mine found this little nest and I was able to take some photographs at her house. These nests are so fragile that they rarely survive the winter. You can see the exterior is made from lichens, and the inside from bits of plant fibres. The insert shows the nest with a Canadian nickel to give an idea of how small the nest is.
