Colorado potato beetle larva (Leptinotarsa decemlineata)

This fat orange-coloured larva is feeding away on Solanum dulcamara, a non-native vine that is quite common. This species is originally from Mexico and it seems when it made its way north from Mexico it developed a taste for potatoes. Initially, it fed on native solanums. Here, feeding on this S. dulcamara, far from any potato fields, it is doing no harm.
