Crossing a flooded trail in Larose Forest, this leech hit a bare patch momentarily, where I took the photo of it topside (Previous photo) and then flipped it over to get a photo of its orange belly. Leeches are segmented worms in the phylum Annelida. I've seen them often in the ponds and waterways in the forest.
