Ants

These are possibly Lasius ants, which are tiny, golden ants like these. They were found under a rock, some, on the soil, were tending larvae, but these on the underside of the rock, were carrying and caring for what look like aphids. Many ants have a symbiotic relationship with aphids, tending them for the honeydew secretion which ants relish.
