This is strong. I love the window light and the way it comes through the glass. The cat's cradle around the candles seems like an embrace of these solitary objects. And I loved the Vonnegut book too. V.

Karen, it's been a long time since I read Cat's Cradle, but your photo reminds me that in it the world ends by ice (freezing of the seas by something called ice-nine). Great shot. v
