Rocks

West Virginia

Mamiya RB67. Fujifilm FP3000B.

Submitted for the challenge entry, "A book you’ve been reading."

This is not a book. It's rocks. There is a connection.

As long as I can remember, I have collected interesting looking rocks. This is only a small part. I never know what they are except for obvious ones like pyrite or quartz.

I usually google rocks to identify them. I'd like to buy a book with photos and plan on doing that when I find out what is a good one. Then it will be the book I'm reading.

Other worlds can be seen here.

Mamiya RB67 ,Mamiya Sekor 90mm f3.6

other sizes: small medium original auto

I love your arrangement of the rocks and your high key photograph of them. Those are interesting rocks and I can see why you saved them. I hope you find a good guide book. V+

One of my sons used to save rocks. He ended up being a soil engineer...

Reminds me of the Jimmy Durante song: (I'll Never Forget) The Day I Read a Book. You may also want to consider picking a pet rock. So many things you can do.
