Go Ask Alice

West Virginia

Polaroid SX70. Polaroid Time Zero film, expired 2003.

The transition here is our ever increasing reliance on mood altering medication. I do not take nor have ever taken Lyrica. I bought this mirror at a yard sale. :) I am not judgmental about people who do take medication either. It's just an observation.

A note about the effects again. These are from the mix of old chemicals in the instant film. It is not post processing. I only mention this because people compliment me on my Photoshop skills and they are minimal at best. :)

For the September challenge - Transitions. Other transitions can be seen here.

Well done. Yeah, they put me on anti-depressants when I was going thru chemo....didn't have emotions at all so I quit taking them. I don't like medication and it doesn't like me. I do love the image. You really rock, girl!

Fascinating and mysterious image. Like catching ghosts on film.

The old chemicals are coming through for you, in I suppose, surprising and unexpected ways. This makes a fine abstract. V

You change the normal into a work of art...

Great results this time! Too bad Lyrica isn't a heartburn medicine, you could sell the ad! LOL I have to add, I know some people who SHOULD take a chill pill. :)

The drug theme is certainly about transitions as is that great song. Mysterious photo with a black mirror, but there is a spark of flame in there. V

Fascinating image and it does seem to fit well with those great Jefferson Airplane lyrics. V
