Very nice picture.

A great capture of what is still a part of the daily routine in many communities. I suppose every state in the US has it's Athens. There is one in Kentucky but only there would they pronounce it with a long A.

Still important to some people!
Piet & Elsabé Enslin16-Jan-2009 19:46
Yes it still works!

Literally a cool photo. Didn't know it snowed down there. Wow.
btw It's all the automated mail sorting that slows it down at the one I work at. Always breaking down. Too much noise, too.

Only because of the snow ;-)

I see 4 lines of communication, body language, newsprint, bulletin board & the USPO 'snail mail' center... Great shot!

Mine is hampered.
I hate not being able to buy individual stamps out of a machine.
Jola Dziubinska16-Jan-2009 02:02
I still use it :)

I just realized that the misspelled form is perhaps the more sensitive one? It's 'i' in communicate, but 'u' in communucate. Who's it about? Me or you? Well, I guess both, ideally, huh? Oh, right, nice photo!
Cindi Smith16-Jan-2009 00:03
Yep, visited one of those late yesterday afternoon. Still a good way to communicate!

...but it still gives pleasure to us when we receive a handwritten one from someone we care about!

It gives you time to prepare an answer ;>))

J. Scott Coile15-Jan-2009 16:44
