This gallery contains images captured in Alaska during the first 2 weeks of September 2004. The brown bear images are from a camp located on the coast (Shelikof Strait) in Katmai National Park. There are also a few landscape and architecture shots from various locations in Alaska like Seldovia, Homer, McCarthy, and Kennicott.

I enjoyed your photos. I think we were about on the same road trip, only mine was during the Summer Solstice of 2004. I went along the McCarthy Road and up to Kennecott, also drove around Seward and Homer and the Cook Inlet. Check out my Alaska gallery if you get the chance. I wish I had been up there when the sun actually set, so I could have gotten some sunrise/sunset shots.

Very nice. I would love to see Alaska. So many places to go, I will be busy for years to come. Thanks for sharing.
