May I request a re-look at the year of death. I believe the "3" (1863) may actually be an "8" (1868). I hope I am not repeating info that is already known... Ada was the d/o of Joshua S Barnes & Lecretia Hord. She married Abner Hord 06/1867 in Bath County. Their daugther, Lucretia "Lula" Adalaide Hord, was born 05/03/1868 according to her death certificate. Lula married Thomas Jefferson Rice in 1889 and died 05/22/1956.
