Genealogy Research

Working out family relationships has been an ongoing process shared by family members including relatives and friends in addition to the
Elva and Nona Small family members. Much of this process involves reviewing and collating family history from several key resources. These
include reaseach by family members, online research and leg work visiting primarily family and public cemeteries. I have come to view
visiting the cemeteries as, paradoxically, living history and one of the more exciting elements of the genealogy search.

Hi, have you checked at the Fleming County Covered Bridge Museum? I know there were Claypools living in Goddard and there is a photo of Charles Preston Claypool with his work horse on the Fleming County Facebook history page. and is the father of Gail Claypool Hinton. Gail lives in Fleming County and is the widow of Frank Owen Hinton.

I have hit a brick wall when it comes to my great grandparents maybe you can help.
James Claypool 1853 who died between 1901-1910 last census was 1900. He was living in Fleming co. and was white. Minerva Leggett 1854 died after my uncle Earlie was born in 1898. I know there kids was moved to Portsmouth, Ohio. I have information on the kids in my ancestry. I have my grandfather's death cert saying his father was from Hillsboro and mother Bath co. Also so family do not agree with me on James mother and father. How can I tell in the 1850 census who is daughter or daughter-in-law. I don't think that Samuel and that Elizabeth was married like so of the family do. Others say Samuel married an Elizabeth and other (like me) said Elizabeth never married. HELP tell me where to go to find information. THANK YOU Barbara
