The Decoration of the Central Hall
The central hall was to be the most important room in the palace and, as such, synthesizes the decorative plan that Gaudí and Güell devised for the building, based on a monumentality of calculated restraint. Thirteen woods of various types were used in the palace, whether for structural or ornamental purposes.
