Buddhist temples in Thailand and surrounding countries are called Wats. A lot of them are not single buildings but are consisting of different buildings, like the Wihans, Bots, Chedis , each one with their specific function. In general these buildings are decorated very beautifully like the door entrances and gates. The roofs of Thai temples are often adorned with so called chofahs. These temples and their beautiful shaped features are abundantly colourful and are truly a feast for the eyes and a challenge to photograph them in a most attractive way as possible.
