Peggy at Hound Tor

I guess it's something of a cliche taking a hound to Hound Tor on Dartmoor,
but I've enjoyed taking each of my dogs there over the years. It's such an
interesting location especially in Spring before it attracts crowds of holidaymakers.

Peggy has her front feet out of the frame because she's not yet learned to be
sufficiently dependable to come back to me on recall and i don't really fancy
having her off leash up there in the granite rocks.

I'm very pleased with this Fuji camera when it comes to holding the dog's lead
and shooting one-handed. It's just the right size to brace nicely.

A wonderful dog in a most beautiful setting. I can almost see my and my dog hiking up here (I love Dartmoor) but, I'm in Canada.... Great photo. V
