As a feature writer and editor I also get to use cameras on a daily basis, taking shots of people and commercial subjects. By complete contrast I enjoy photographing landscape and nature with particular emphasis on back-lighting in my leisure time. I'm happy to use whatever camera is easily to hand. Film SLR, DSLR, compact, phonecam, all are valid if they can be used to get the shot. 'Better' is seldom sharpest and cleanest when mood is involved.
