Phu-Chaisai Resort – located in the misty mountains in a small city called Mai Chan about 35 km. north of Chang Rai. The resort is established on the mountain site meaning that from every hut, there’s a perfect view over the rainforest and the mountains.

Our stay were filled with experiences that challenged all our senses.

Every hut has a balcony with a mountain- and rainforest view. Got up early in the morning, out on the balcony, watching the sunrise and listen to the sounds from the forest.

In daytime all you hear is the meditative music streaming out of the speakers placed everywhere in the area. In the evening and night time, the only sounds you could hear came from the bugs and the faraway lizards. Some of the flowers you could only smell after the sunset. The scent was sweet and seductively. I think we became addicted to the scent at some level.

The resort is the most perfect place to relax a few days before continuing to other experiences.
