This was our last full day in Trinity. We did a lot of stuff. In the morning we took a 3 hour boat ride south of the bay to see the locations of settlements which ceased to exist. Our guide was the son of a long line of fishermen. He had some old photos which he held up showing the town when it was a going concern, but now there is not a single building standing. His stories of the cod fishing and resettlement were quite captivating.

In the afternoon we hiked the Skerwink trail, about 5.3 km. Not very long. The weather had turned fine and we got some really spectacular views of the Trinity Bay. Today's photo is of some neat rocks we encountered during the hike.

In the evening we attended a play that was pretty funny (and long). The quality of the entertainers in Trinity is top notch. Tomorrow we head off on our return to St. John's.
