7/11: New Toy
(Not the Car)

I got a new toy and it's not the car (hint: check the exif below the second picture).
I took this shot from about 30 inches behind the rear bumper of the car.
Here's the unprocessed 100% crop.
I'm sorry I didn't buy one for everyone.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

i like your turbo...
nice color, beautiful car

Good perspective Jeremy and good subject choice too. Had you thought about using circular gradients to highlight the car. I like white to black with multiply blend mode and say 50% opacity, tother with the same layer again but with soft light blend mode.

Nice, wide angle! Enjoy your new toy.

Usually people use a macro to take shots of a bug's ass! LOL!

Looks very sharp - good lens from what I hear. Congrats!!!

Every time some PBaser gets a wide lens, I want one even more lol.
The VW Bug is a great target for your 10-22.
Guest 18-Jul-2005 01:23

10-22mm lense!!! Wow Jeremy! Nice toy my friend. Impressive effect!
But... I would prefer the other turbo toy -the beetle one;))

I am so jealous!!! Looks like it will be a great addition to your collection. Can't wait to see what all you can do with it.

Just as I suspected - the high price of a new wide angle lens is definitely worth it . I think this will be a lot of fun for you Jeremy and glad you got it!

My next digital camera is going to be a "Full Frame" sensor so I can
get this wide. Too bad that new lens of yours won't work with my 10D.
Oh well. Hope you enjoy the new lens.

Two of my favorite things. A VW and the 10-22 lens. Enjoy the lens, it's one of my favorites. It stays on my camera all of the time. Check out my galleries for examples.
