I think you are overreacting to the presence of this animal. They are beneficial and have a purpose in this world.

I live in Boston, Ma and have alreadykilled killed four [(including a baby), who still had had significantly long legs compared to its small long thin body due to it being what I assume was baby.... I've had my share of scares with them ESPECIALLY when I saw it dart across the mattress inside my 15 month old daughter's crib!!! Luckily she was being carried by me at the moment. Due to its insanely ugly and horrid appearance, I immediately (I am definitely not an an insect lover NONETHELESS, SPIDERS or anything close to one's resemblance in any shape or form. The most ill do or should I say, the most I can handle before I have a cardiac arrest or stroke is a lady bug. But back to the house centipede. ... I rushed and called my complex's Maintenance and they sad the dont bite, that they actually help out with. Eating other bugs and spider but are completely harmless....Harmless my big effin toe!!! I was due for my annual Pest Control inspection and the nice guy told me that they do eat spiders and other bugs ( but duh...dont they all....HELLLLO....its called survival of the fittest or circle of life, lol. And they do so with their unique venom which if I remember correctly, is located on all those billions of crazy legs they run their marathons in, that INDEED IS used by them to paralyze their prey then devour them...So without a doubt I just about jumped off the dock that leads out from my master bedroom bathroom just thinking about what I would have done seeing that alien looking creature sprint across my baby from her cute lil' face to her tiny lil' pinky toe?!?!?!? At 28...I think I would've just had a cardiac arrest at the same speed those mf's commute around ones house!!! Ughhh...theyre so friggin ugly that it makes me sick! Though I have to be honest, he did mention that they do bite but in most circumstances, they must be aggravated and /or antagonized for them to attack/bite/ or sting you with their 1 biilion infused venomous long, swift, ugly legs. They also love to hang out in wet, humid and dark places while not moving around to find prey. They are usually nocturnal insects [ ■though every time I have seen them, the sun has been out but that could have been due simply to the lighting in Lexi Sophia's nursery■]. With that said...... to myself... any bug that will attack if antagonized or bother qualifies to ME as one that bites, stings, and or attacks someone.... not to mention. ...an insect that carries venomous substances for its own own protection......uggggaahhhh theyre so dang fross looking!

I have seen 3 centepede in my living room today. I now have a rash on my leg. Could they carry an airborne something. Could be a coincidence but they are ugly and run fast. I did kill them tho because until I saw this didn't know what they were. Thought they could be Brown Recluse

What kind of Centepede is this and would it be strange to find one in the north east USA?
