_MG_5344 Last Picture!

Day six of peeps and I decided to try the 17-55 lens hoping it would find focus since I couldn't look through the viewfinder. The baby is very heavily sharpened. A few hours after this was taken I found the nest abandoned.

I did a search and it says that Carolina wrens fledge between 12 and 14 days so I hope your little guys were ok. This is a precious shot. Carolina wrens are some of my favorite birds. I love their song. :)

It looks fully feathered and lets hope it is off flying safe and sound!

Beautiful Shot. I hope that they are all ok, flying off and having fun.

This baby looks too young to have fledged, I hope I'm wrong.

Great little series. My guess is that the youngsters are still around somewhere, busily learning to fly and take care of themselves while hiding from varmints. Astonishing how fast they grow up.

Were they ready to fly off Isabel or did something happen to them?
