What a great house. We call it thrift, too. I have that same color growing in my yard and it adds such a nice splash of color, just like it does in this photo. :)

About the angle, about which some of you have commented: This house is situated on a very steep slope...so steep in fact that the residents taken their car down the hill to collect their mail from the mailbox. They also drive their trash cans down to the curb!
