I tried a hummingbird feeder on my window this spring and it attracted lots of ants, so I took it down and decided if hummers wanted to feed at my house, they'd have to rely on flowers. This morning I spied this little one hanging around my geraniums for quite a long time and went for my 300mm lens which, unfortunately, was on my Canon 50D which doesn't have the superb focusing ability of my 7D, so I made a lens switch and caught these three images, unfortunately again, at ISO 3200 because the morning light wasn't that bright.
