What a challenge - a dark room lit with waning daylight and a nightlight bulb, and beautiful fall colors on a rainy day, filtering through the blinds. A nightmare of color interpretation and exposure to deal with. I had to use a lot of minus exposure compensation to get the room to look as dark as it was, not kill the beautiful view from outside. Lots of noise reduction was applied in Adobe Camera Raw. Processing an image like this is all about compromise - I supposed I could have put the camera on a tripod and taken several images for an hdr result. Maybe tomorrow - it's too dark out now.
