_MG_0467 Through My Window

I was awakened at 3:30 am by the sound of frozen rain pelting against our windows. When daylight arrived, this is what I saw. Thankfully the temperature is sitting slightly above freezing, because falling ice glazed limbs often cause power outages. I used some Topaz Simplify on this to simplify the trees in the background so the ice glazing on the limbs doesn't show up clearly. I hope you can see the ice globules on the tips of the pine needles.

This is a really great view and shot. I do see the ice - especially when I take it to original size.

I hope the ice doesn't get too thick that you loose any trees.

Beautiful image, Isabel. Hope you guys warm up there and don't get this next big winter storm that is going to hit so big up the east coast.
