A Yellow Rope

Winter.....some days I just can't get enough of it.
The prairie landscape can be pretty barren at times and just go on for miles and miles.
Some things like this fence and it's wires add a hint of life to an image, human life.
Then the icing on the cake is this neatly tied "Yellow Rope" which shows there is life.
I could have shot this with out the fence (which I did also first), but when I saw that rope I had to include it.

You really do know how to bring out the beauty of what many people claim is a bleak landscape here in Saskatchewan. V

Very stark shot Mike; the fence is absolutely necessary to provide scale in the seemingly endless landscape. Very nice composition.

I think you made the right choice - the fence adds so much to the landscape - gives it a sense of the vastness of the prairie.

Good choice, Mike. The fence adds a whole different dimension to the shot.
