Bay Island The Beginning Of A Blizzard

Can you imagine having to go to this school in the dead of winter?
These one room school house's used to dot the prairie landscape not many remain.
I have captured this school many a time and you can see it in other galleries day or night, winter or summer.
I never get tired of "Bay Island" S.D.

A sea of snow Mike. Just a great shot of this place! We had to walk uphill, both ways too! BV!

The thing that always amazes me about these one room school houses on the prairie is the realization of how far some of those kids had to go. It takes a lot of area to fill a classroom in farm county. Great winter sky - well done.

Mike, I really love this picture! The blowing snow, the hues, love it.

Your images of "days past" remind me of how "easy" we have it now on many things. Well done.

Yea, forget that. Unless the (4WD) bus pulled right up to the door... ;)

Splendid! The photo is technically perfect and the composition has a great emotional intensity.
