British Airways Announce The Late Arrival Of .......

Calne, Wiltshire

My entry for the Thursday T.I.T. Challenge "Running Late" - more late runners # here # in the forum.

I caught this shot on the way to an early meeting today. It's looking East to Newbury where
transatlantic flights turn left for Luton or Stansted, head straight on for Heathrow, or turn right for Gatwick!!! At least one of these must have been running late!! LOL

The picture in no way does justice to the awesome light show I witnessed for a few fleeting moments
before the sun came up and the clouds moved across!!

Another view:

Canon EOS 30D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
1/1250s f/8.0 at 42.0mm iso640 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

When I lived in NJ several years ago I was always amaized at the crowd in the air. Any time I would look at the sky, even at night, there were at least 3-4 planes on it. But there were hours I could see 10-12 of them at the same time!

Again - a wonderful photo, making nice colorful design. V.

No wonder all those people are frustrated about running late on that TV Reality show...they have more traffic jams in the sky than the road :> )
J. Scott Coile04-Oct-2007 20:23
Fly the crowded skies ;-) I've been on a flight out of LA that you could almost wave to a parallel plane's passengers :-(
