I have a very similar portrait of myself in my gallery, but i recognize that yours is much more original than mine, to say nothing about the fact that you are much more pretty, of course, lol.

Seriously, congrats for this portrait, you have achieved to show a really intriguing image of yourself, that eyesight is worth a complete gallery, not just a picture.

Nice ta meetcha'. I can relate to your discomfort on being on the other side of the lens. I'm the same way with self-portraits. One day, though, I did a SP marathon for an hour or two and that got me over the worst of it. Still, it's not my favorite thing.
