Newbury

Berkshire view map

The Corn Exchange was built here in 1861, but it has not been used as such for a great many decades. It was certainly used for music in 1966, as The Who performed here. Apparently their drummer Keith Moon and bass player John Entwistle arrived so late for the gig that the other two members started to perform with the support band and a punch-up ensued!

And two years after it was built my little village was opened to free settlement...It looks like a Methodist Church. Nicely captured, Ray.
