this is the Garden of Eden area of Arches, although temps were far from paradisiacal..in fact the entire time around Moab was a bit on the chilly side, invigorating all the same though..in the background are the La Sal Mountains

Only in Winter would you get those wonderful contrasts! Consider layering and adding some USM to the foreground to make it really pop. I think it's one of those 'special' photos.

I always loved this garden. The scene is indeed paradisiacal, and a bit otherworldly. I love the contrast of the colors, showing off the shapes of the garden. Although it was chilly, you had great light and succeeded in making a wonderful image to be proud of!
