Cerise Clair

Loch Clair, Torridon, Scotland

Perhaps the most astonishing winter light I have ever witnessed at Loch Clair is this radiant soft pink glow on the snow capped peak of Liathach beautifully reflected in a Loch Clair shortly after sunrise flickered over the peaks. This amazing afterglow lasted less than a minute during which the loch was perfectly still and not a breath of wind disturbed the golden reed bed in the immediate foreground, heavenly.

Check out the new TRANSIENT LIGHT Photographic Holidays on my website together with a whole lot of other work at Transient Light.
