The remains of what once was a two story, eight room school house in the now
ghost town of Rhyolite, NV. Rhyolite was founded during the gold rush years of
1904 - 1908, lasting for all intents and purposes until the post office closure in 1913.
Rhyolite is about 5 miles east of Death Valley National Park near the town of Beatty, NV.
I shot this with the 8 - 15 zoom lens to catch as much of this great sky as possible.
That meant I also had to do some post processing to straighten the foundation
at the bottom of the school house. This is a merge of 3 exposures for HDR.
